 Product  TH300
 Description  Temperature/Humidity/Dew Point Indicator
 Image
Features  This highly accurate instrument is ideal for field and on-site temperature, humidity and calculated dew point readings. The sturdy design features a smooth, ergonomic body that allows for easy clean-up and maintenance. The advanced TH300 stores and recalls 16 readings, including temperature, humidity, and calculated dew point, with the touch of a button. Additional features include: large digital display (characters almost 1 inch in height), automatic shut-off, min/max, hold key, low battery indicator, calibration, and delta T function.
  • HUGE digital display of temperature and humidity
  • Outstanding ergonomic design with slim case and remote wand
  • Calculates dew point, and can store/recall 16 readings with the touch of a button
  • User calibration
  • °F/°C switchable
  • Display of minimum/maximum, and data hold
 Notes
  • The Humidity sensor has possibly been saturated or damaged.
  • What is the environment like in which the unit is being used?
  • If the 99% is due to customers environment, this means the sensor has been saturated. Recommend the protective filter part # A867.
  • If sensor was saturated, the unit will return to normal after a few hours in a dry environment.

Calibration is off
  • If the unit is reading LOW in a HIGH humidity environment, let the unit stabilize a while longer, this could possibly be due to insufficient air flow.
  • What is the tolerance of the unit it's being compared to?
  • We DO NOT recommend that a sling psychrometer be used to compare readings.
  • It's ok if the unit is within the sum of the two tolerances
  • Using the Zero adjustment procedure (ZR MODE) found in the user manual, compare and adjust the unit to another instrument that is accurate.
  • Has the customer or an outside calibration house attempted calibration?
  • Are the Dickson calibration salts being used? The salts can have a ± 5% R/H tolerance and are not recommended for a full calibration process if the unit will be used to monitor humidity levels throughout the full range.

Unit is on but doesn't respond to changes
  • Is the unit locked up?
  • Try replacing the battery.

Locked up or Frozen Display
  • Unplug then replace battery.

No Power
  • Make sure that battery is good.
